Cafe and zine...
Zine is a self-published book that are generally not sold in bookstores, that artists just make it with a pure impulse to make a book.
A book in which they just wanted to introduce what they like, that they just wanted to make...
There are so many words to describe what zine is; however, it contains many thoughts and feelings of artists in any case.
It is said that the word "zine" came from "magazine" or was originally "fanzine"... some people know about zine but most people actually don't know it yet.
As we were wishing that everyone can look at zines, we decided to exhibit zines at a place where everyone can come. This was how the project "fabzine" started.
This, our 2nd event, is held at a cafe.
Please find your favorite zine while having some coffee.
We wish that everyone, who don't know about zine, who knew about it, who's making it, or who want to make it, can all enjoy this exhibition.

*"fabzine" is currently looking for artists who want to show their zines in our events.

fabzine
A event to exhibit and sell zine and free papers. We are planning to have events at many kinds of places to introduce zine to the public. The zines we currently have are the ones we gathered from all over Japan and selected.
