She was born in 1984, Yokohama, Japan, and graduated from SUGINO GAKUEN Dressmaker Gakuin (special school of dress design in Tokyo).
She often travels alone to find material for illustrations.
(Examples of destination: Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, USA, Mexico)
Her artist name “Boojil” comes from the sound of Japanese phrase “Busaiku wo Ijiru.”
It expresses that her artworks are not pretty or decorative, but she’s creating with happiness and joy.
Her illustrations are so colorful and fun to see, so please visit the exhibit :D
2004 --- Started to do artistic activities by the name of Boojil. Illustrations for fashion magazines, etc.

Keisuke Nagoshi will hold photo exhibition at digmeout ART&DINER in
commemoration of publishing his photo book “CHICANO.”
He has been taking photographs of world’s street life.
In this time, he slipped into the community of Chicano, a minority race of
Mexican-American.
“CHICANO” is produced by KEI, Japanese man who had lived in the
community and accepted as “homie.”
This photo book shows their hard, tough life and deep bonds. You will see
their real life in this exhibition.

He passed at digmeout audition in 2006.

he will display each of his works comparing to supplement.

Painter. He turned from a baseball player to a painter when he was 25 years old. Now he is painting mainly in Okinawa. Last year, over 10000 people gathered to the exhibit in Okinawa for his works.
He held a solo exhibit in January in Roppongi, Tokyo and will hold it in November at an art museum in Korea.

She expresses Kobe, the town of mountains and the sea,
using the motifs of birds and fishes.
Her artworks will decorate a town of Kobe in this spring.

ARTSTREAM FM802 AWARD: Group Exhibition of Tomo Nakanishi, HITO, and Tomoko Kanzaki

In “ARTSTREAM 2007,” an event held at Suntory Museum in
Tempozan Harbor Village, Osaka, 3 artists received the FM802 award.
They will hold the group exhibition in digmeoutART&DINER soon. Please

Tomo Nakanishi
Born in Kanagawa, Japan, 1979. Now living in Nara.
She studied illustration in Kyoto International Academy.
She draws naked girls with acrylic and pen. Around the “secret part” of girls’
body, something like mist is floating. It’s erotic, but it’s innocent too.

HITO
Born in Taiwan, 1975. Now living in Shizuoka, Japan.
She graduated from Vantan Design Institute.
She holds events and solo-exhibitions mostly in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.
She draws realistic matter in an unrealistic way with pen and crayon leaving
lots of space.

Tomoko Kanzaki
She is a printmaker (mainly mimeograph).
She graduated from printmaking course in Dept. of Media Arts, Kyoto Seika
University, and began to hold group and solo exhibitions in 2005.
The motifs of her works are BONSAI (dwarf trees) and gardens. She expresses the “wabi-sabi” of the motifs with the style of collage.
