yumi nakata(yumi nakata) >> Born 1984 in Nara. Currently living and studying (MA in Kyoto Art University) in Kyoto. In 2005 she completed textile design course in Osaka Art University and had some exhibitions that took places such as Itohen and Doujidai gallery. Her collage works with many butterflies, moths, lightning, lines, and signs covering female faces have a strong originality. They are pop but at same time they express the artist’s strong mental world.
