Akira Wakui(Akira Wakui) >> born in 1976 in Nagano. Became freelance 3-D illustrator after graduating from Kyoto Seika university. His "garbage heads" project which mechanicalizes everyday life motifs, gained high attention.Featured in digmeout03 in 2002, did exhibition at digmeout cafe on 2003. Won grand prize at"Tokyo doll"show held in Toronto, Canada. Plans to do exhibition in NY on November of 2004.
